Online Volunteer Orientation Feb. 22!

Always thought you’d like to volunteer with Mali Rising but weren’t sure how to do it? Join us online for a 30-minute orientation to the current openings for volunteers! Most of our volunteer opportunities are virtual and several are good for groups.
Example ways to help include:
Writing short, fun notes of encouragement to our students to let our students know someone is rooting for them
Reading short books or stories on camera to help our students improve their English skills
Making beaded friendship bracelets with inspirational messages to help students get through year-end exams
Helping us spread the word to others by helping us out on social media
And more.
This online orientation is Thrusday, February 22 at 7:30 eastern/6:30 central/5:30 mountain/4:30 pacific.
The 30-minute Zoom call will give you a chance to learn a little about the role volunteers play at Mali Rising (hint: it is a huge role!) and to explore 7 ways you could get involved today. Future volunteer sessions will dig deeper on various options, but this is a great way to find out if there is a volunteer role that inspires you!
