Talking about your will doesn’t excite anyone, but how about talking about the legacy you want to leave behind? Now that’s inspirational.
I know most of our supporters will already leave a rich legacy behind. I know this because I know our supporters — wonderful friends and parents, generous community supporters, leaders in their professions. These are things that matter to us as we grow older, and our supporters already know that.
But there’s another kind of legacy you can leave — the gift of education that will continue to help individual children and entire communities long after you and I are gone. A gift that underwrites school construction, scholarships, teacher training, or whatever inspires you is truly a legacy that will live on in the students and the better world they build.
So, if you are interested in this kind of legacy check out our general information on legacy gifts. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your vision for your legacy and, as always, consult a tax professional to work out the details.
