Today is MLK Day in the United States — one of our most inspirational holidays. This is a day to step up in service to others in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.. I’d like to encourage you to consider carrying this spirit forward beyond today by volunteering for Mali Rising — and we have a great way for you to learn how.
Join us for a quick, online orientation to nine of the current ways you can be of service to Mali Rising’s great kids! You’ll be part of a fun group of people and volunteers tackle tasks that really matter to our students and to our success. We have updated our volunteer offerings to make them all virtual — covid-safe and open to people all around the country!
This 30-minute Zoom call on January 28 will give you a chance to learn a little about the role volunteers play at Mali Rising (hint: it is a huge role!) and to explore more than 9 ways you could get involved today. Future volunteer sessions will dig deeper on various options, but this is a great way to find out if there is a volunteer role that inspires you!
