If you’re anything like me, you might be using these last days of 2022 to plan for the new year and set some intentions or resolutions. Maybe one of those resolutions involves giving back to others? Good for you! Over the last five days of this month, we’re going to help you out with a series of ways you can Resolve to be Involved with Mali Rising — five easy ways to help others. The five ways: Connect, Volunteer, Share Give, and Celebrate. Today, we’ll start with Connect.
What do we mean by Connect? We’re asking you to connect more with the work Mali Rising does and with our students. This might be the easiest resolution ever really!
Here’s all you need to do. Please take three minutes to either:
Like or follow us on the social media platform of your choice: Facebook or Instagram. We’re a tiny organization, so every follower makes a HUGE difference in our ability to reach people and you’ll be connected regularly with stories from our students and with ways to get more deeply connected with the work; or
Subscribe to our new podcast — Rising. Listen to the newest episode, which is all about the Girls’ Project and then subscribe to get regular connections with the work and stories; or
Sign up for our monthly e-newsletter. Again, this is a great way to get a monthly dose of connection with the great impact your support has in real children’s lives. You’ll feel good and you’ll help us grow our network of friends.
That’s it! Connect with us via one or more of those channels and you can already check off one of your New Year’s resolutions. 2023 is going to be your year, obviously!
