Little Heroes Academy I was opened in 2008 in the village of Mana. This school was funded by the Little Heroes Foundation, now known as the Sunshine Heroes Foundation. Fun fact about Little Heroes Academy I: the school is home to the only female principal at a Mali Rising partner school!

24/25 Mali Rising priority projects at Little Heroes Academy I: Girls; Project, Learning Kit support, Little Library rotation, Mothers’ Loan Fund campaign, French Language Intervention Project (FLIP), and Inspiration Scholar support.
