We have great news for some of Mali Rising’s smallest students at Ben Dixon Elementary — their school has been adopted for the 24/25 school year! Thanks to the Dixon family, the students there will have the support they need to make this one of the best school years ever
The Dixon family donated to built this school way back in 2010, and their investment in the school and its students has not wavered since. Check out this moving video summarizing what the experience of sponsoring the school meant to the family, and continues to mean today.
Because of the Dixon family’s continued success, the students will learn and grow in a safe environment this year. The biggest activity planned at the school for the 24/25 year is the Girls’ Project, which helps girls get into school and thrive there. From special skill trainings to soccer teams, the young girls of Ben Dixon Elementary will have what they need to succeed.. You too can Adopt A School! By adopting a school for the school year, you support three classrooms packed with kids all year long. For just $3,000, you will sponsor the teacher training, learning tools, and extracurricular programming those kids need to turn a school into a brighter future.
To make things easier, you can break your sponsorship donation into monthly gifts ($250) or even do a fundraising drive to raise the funds as a family or group. Throughout the year, you’ll receive special content from the school such as stories, photos, and videos.
